Eindhoven. Eindhoven is a very nice but ugly city. It has lots of new buildings without any traditional characteristics. But going out in Eindhoven is something totally different. Then, you don’t look at the buildings from the outside, but from the inside. There are very nice clubs that have a great artistic inside. Especially lights are used very often in different ways to create nice spheres. I am working in Grand Café De Wildeman. It is located on the market of Eindhoven. During the day it is a restaurant, during the night a bar. The average age of people is around 30. That is of course a bit older than the age of students but that does not make it less nice. Almost every Saturday there is a very good artist performing in de bar. This always attracts many people. The type of artists are often changing from a singer to a piano player or comedian. But, if you really like to party as a student, you should go to Het Stratumseind. This is a street with only bars and cafés. Around 50 bars are always open during the weekend where you can meet new people. The average age in this entire street will be around 18 years old. These people are coming from all over town. You will always find your friends over there, the beer is cheap and the music is very good. Most of the bars are open until 04.00 hours. When they close, many students are not done partying yet. They go to De Massa. De Massa is a club that is open until 07.00 in the morning. You will only be granted access if you are 21 years or older. So, now you know where to go to when you are a student in Eindhoven.
